1. Top bolt - Material: Aluminium or tin-plated copper - Screw, press, weld 2. Top cover - Material: Aluminium alloy. - Fastened with screws and ring halves. - Sealed with O-rings 3. Insulator - Alt. 1. Grey composite is available for 36 kV and 72 kV. Alt. 2. Grey or brown porcelain. - Composite insulator with silicone rubber as outdoor insulation material has a low weight. The silicone rubber has a naturally hydrophobic surface which decreases the risk of leakage currents. - A porcelain insulator has more than 30 years’ fi eld proven design. 4. Filling compound - Polybutene oil. Volume: 2 litres. 5. Stress relief cone - Material: EPDM rubber. - Premoulded. - Geometrical fi eld control. 6. Box body - Material: Aluminium. - Robust construction with individual clamps or screws to secure the insulator. Sealed with an O-ring. - The cable screen connector is made of nickelplated brass and clamped with stainless steel bolts. 7. Cable clamp - Material: Aluminium. - The cable clamp secures the cable in a fi xed position.
